The Lifestyle section launched on 6 April 2006 and closed to new employees on 31 December 2017 so if you started working for Diageo in the UK after September 2005 and before 1 January 2018, then you’re likely to be a member of the Lifestyle section.

How to identify your section – Final Salary or Lifestyle?
If you’re unsure which section you belong to, the following may help:
- If you joined Diageo in the UK prior to September 2005 then you’re likely to be a member of the Final Salary section.
- If you started working for Diageo in the UK after September 2005 and before 1 January 2018, then you’re likely to be a member of the Lifestyle section.
If you’re still unsure:
- Log into the Online Portal to view your Scheme details.
- If you are a current employee, you can check your latest benefit statement which will tell you whether you’re in the Final Salary or Lifestyle section.
